manifesting digression at its ultimate best.
Promoting procrastination, and providing distractions,
throwing obstacles like curve balls, adding mounds to the
treacherous mountains yet to be climbed.
Robbing me of all my time, not promised by a power divine,
and draining me of my sense of hope.
Trying and tiring me out of precious energy,
tying me down to a feeling of broken dreams and memories...
laughing callously...
I look into the eyes of my enemy,
call out at all its indifference,
trying to banish it from my worldly existence
and find it hard to move this creature.
